Elephant and Castle regeneration is an ‘extraordinary transformation’
The Elephant and Castle regeneration was the subject of choice for a recent article in the Evening Standard. The ‘enviable Zone 1 location’ is benefiting from huge levels of investment, with grand plans to create a new town centre for those who live in Elephant and Castle, and over introduce 5,000 new homes.
Not only does Elephant and Castle offer connections on the Bakerloo line, Northern line and Thameslink, the article suggests that the area ‘must be in contention for the prize for the area with the greatest concentration of London bus routes – there are 29 services’.
As featured in the article, Lendlease’s Elephant Park is contributing towards the major Elephant and Castle regeneration, with over 3,000 homes being built over the next few years, alongside new shops and restaurants and central London’s newest park in over 70 years.
